How the desk writes

The desk separates verified facts from claims that need verification. Where a page makes a factual claim, the desk links or names the source where one is publicly available. Where a page makes a claim the desk cannot verify, the page says so in the same paragraph. Where a page is the desk's reading, the page says it is the desk's reading.

The desk does not publish guaranteed-win language, fabricated payouts, fabricated testimonials or unsafe gambling instructions. The desk does not publish content the desk would not defend in front of a careful adult reader. The desk does not invent ownership, company, contact or legal details to fill a template.

The desk refreshes pages when a material change occurs. Each page carries a last-reviewed date. Pages that have not been reviewed in the past twelve months carry a notice that the page may be stale. The desk welcomes correction through the contact page.

Jurisdiction and legality

What the desk says about state-level legality

Real-money rummy is treated as a game of skill under the constitutional position most often cited in Indian case law, but each state maintains its own rules. Where the reader's use of the desk's pages causes a third-party claim, the reader agrees to indemnify the desk against that claim to the extent permitted by law.

How the desk updates the terms

The desk updates these terms when its practices change, when a material rule shift occurs, or when the desk's editorial scope moves. The last-reviewed date at the bottom of this page reflects the most recent update. Material changes are noted on the homepage banner for at least 30 days. The desk does not retroactively alter what was held under a previous version.

A reader who wishes to be notified of a material change before it takes effect can write to the desk through the contact page; the desk will keep the reader's contact on file for the notice window only and will delete it afterwards.

Severability

What happens if a clause is unenforceable

Where a clause of these terms is held to be unenforceable by a competent court, the remaining clauses continue in force. The desk's reading is that severability is the default position; the reader does not lose the protection of the remaining clauses because one clause is unenforceable.

Assignment

Whether the desk can transfer these terms

The desk may assign these terms to a successor operator where the editorial desk is acquired, merged or transferred. The successor operator inherits the desk's obligations under these terms and the privacy notice. Where the desk assigns the terms, the desk will notify readers through the homepage banner and the for a defined window.
